An Association of Professionals striving for Higher Standards
The Louisiana Private
Investigators Association was founded to promote and maintain the
highest ethical
practices in the profession of private investigators. We
hope that you take the time to browse through our site and learn about the LPIA. You will find information about Louisiana private
investigators, LPIA member benefits, history, events and links of
interest. We are a professional membership organization and not a
license authority. If you are interested in becoming licensed
and want to learn the details of being licensed, contact the state
board of private investigator examiners.

A word from our President....
I would like to take this opportunity
to welcome you to the Louisiana Private Investigators Association (LPIA)
web site. The LPIA was originally formed in 1987 with the goal of
promoting and maintaining the highest ethical practices of our
membership. Since our inception, the LPIA strives to promote
honesty, professionalism, and ethics within our industry and
membership.
When you
choose a member of the LPIA for your investigative needs you are
choosing a professional in their field who agrees to adhere to our
code of ethics. If you are looking for an investigator then I want
to encourage you to take advantage of our “Find an
Investigator” feature.
I
hope that our members and visitors to this site will find it to be
informative and helpful. If you have an interest in our organization
I encourage you to explore the many benefits we have for our
members. I invite you to consider joining and taking part in making
our association the standard for which other organizations will
model themselves after.
On behalf of the officers and members of the LPIA, I thank you for
your interest in our association and sincerely hope that you are
successful in all of your life’s goals.
Robert Weltz
LPIA President
